There's something about the fear of death that ironically, causes people to do things that bring them closer to death's door than if they had just taken a minute to breathe. Hoaxvid and many other psyops that have been perpetrated on humanity have all been driven by fear; and this weaponized fear resulted in a lot of poor decisions being made.
