i've been reading and talking about pedophilia for years, and i have yet to see even a single bigot that did more research than searching something on google once, grabbing a single paper and reading nothing but its abstract

and people that cited a scholarly source at all were a tiny minority, most didn't cite anything at all, and most of the ones that did just cited random non scholarly websites lol

nothing will ever be funnier than one time someone cited a paper that literally said what i did though, and she only didn't notice that because, of course, she didn't actually read it >w<
