This is the third time this week I've been on the floor for 20 minutes staring at my phone screen. The dopamine hit from scrolling porn is so strong it physically feels like an addiction.

I used to think I had control. That was a lie. Every time I sit down in front of that laptop, every notification from Instagram or Reddit, my brain starts rewiring itself for the next high. And the worst part? It doesn't even feel good anymore — just numb and empty.

My therapist calls it dissociation. My mom called it masturbation addiction when she found me at 14. Both are technically correct. The only difference is now I don't have her to tell me to stop.

And nobody cares that my content is suffering because of it. Meanwhile, I'm slowly dying inside while scrolling through endless feeds of other people's bodies.
