Damn. The loss of opportunity is a harm the strikes at the core.
This makes me even more sad considering that many youths are missing a good part of their prime in partner selection while they have higher social and sexual capital, not a joke to some individuals that hedge most their bets on this. It used to be normal for parents to help or moderate in that process, whatever we may think of it. I think all things considered we regressed on so many practices and milestones once common for the anti's broken window fallacy (the harm in more efforts to gatekeep and rule children instead of investing in them).
