Dear Awakened Soul,
They’ll never say you’re wrong. They might even concede that you MAY be right.
But what they will definitely say is..
“Hasn’t this system served you and your ancestors well?! Don’t you have any gratitude for that?”
“So you really think it’s all I lie? That’s a bit extreme!”
“We’re a flawed humanity, what can we do!? We can’t change that!”
“What? Do you want me to go live in the woods alone and isolate myself from the entire world? That’s crazy!”
And on and on.
A glimmer of truth revealed itself and, in doing so, revealed the fraudulence of their worldview. So the ego awakens and gets to work.
“It can’t be me.”
“I can’t change this. What could I even do?”
Anything to justify inaction. Anything to give away agency. Anything to maintain the comfort of the status quo. Because the path of truth requires a journey through pain.
And we know that’s what’s happening because we all went through it ourselves, and still are. The ego must be slain again and again.
We are so early.
