I switched to https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/37.md#relay-list-for-private-content for private relays. Now you can configure private relays in damus android/notedeck and it will use those for private data like notes/issues. Should be compatible with amethyst.

If none configured it can encrypt the notes to public relays as a fallback.

Private relays are a bit better since your notes will have no trace on public relays

feature I just added to notebook/headway:

by default these apps are local first so you don't leak private info to relays... but if you have a private relay on your relay list it will auto sync with that.
