In the lat 1980s, the Soviet Union began to consider allowing more Soviet Jews to leave the Soviet Union.

The vast majority of Soviet Jews (~80%) wanted to go to the United States.

So the Jewish State lobbied the US to BAN Soviet Jews from settling in the United States. Israel wanted those Jewish bodies to wage demographic, political & economic war against the Palestinians.

Maybe Israel should be re-named, the anti-Jewish State?
