I'm just glad the spam issue is being taken seriously and discussed thoroughly (even if tribally)
I prefer my node not being jpeg file storage- I run it to support bitcoin being hard money. Plenty of other shitchains people can use for that- and miners that want that revenue can mosey on over as well.
I'm pretty sure it will lead to lots of uncertainty and cheaper sats for everyone (a win for decentralization/more plebs able to buy)
BIP110 will not get the miners (even though they could be held liable for whatever bs is on chain). Easy/obvious attack vector for the state.
The miners will say please give us more regulatory clarity daddy govt- which will inevitably lead to more centralization in mining (with all publicly traded miners complying/censoring whatever transactions or data their country dictates)..
