I don't want to remain a hater on FIPs especially because I like Rust instead of Python... But using Nostr instead of Iroh for Nat traversal tells me this is a grant oriented project and is ticking boxes for funding... Plenty of projects did that with IPFS once and ripped it out eventually so maybe FIPs will overcome this stupidity later... But as it stands I don't trust their judgement.
I also don't see what is wrong with Reticulum that can't be fixed by making a Rust implementation and retaining the moment and community?
If you are making a bet, Nostr is a bad bet, as it itself might not last long.
