What climate zone are you in?
If I were in a warm place I'd put it on the eastside, colder place I'd lean south side. If you do the east placement you could insulate the north wall to mitigate the wind and cold. The east setup allows it to warm up faster at first light to warm up the coldest time of day (south you have to wait longer).
If you do the south placement just make sure you have good airflow on the east and west walls both low and high (bring in low cooler air and vent out hot air up high)
