Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene

This was an interesting book. It quotes some of my favorite authors: Anna Tsing, Bruno Latour and Ursula K. Le Guin.
One of Haraway’s most famous slogans is explained in detail in this book: “Make kin, not babies.” This basically means that we should create kin beyond biological reproduction. We are not separate from the non-human things we live with. We should expand our relationships and obligations to non-human beings, not only to our bloodline.
She rejects the Anthropocene and suggests the term Chthulucene. We should not separate ourselves from other beings. We are intertwined with everything and we must live, think, and create together. Becoming-with together.
