Not to hijack, but both Android and iOS seem to have gotten hyper aggressive about killing background tasks and anything that isn’t in current focus. I get that this is probably to keep the normies from nuking their perceived performance when they never close anything, but I still wish there was some kind of “performance mode” you could temporarily lock apps into so they’d hold their state as if they’re in focus even if they aren’t.
