So was I. I remember you were one of the first to _force_ outbox compliance among clients. You pushed the updates then went on a campaign tagging other clients for weeks to update to support it. People complained for weeks or months on amethyst that they couldn't speak with nostr users on other clients because they didn't use outbox yet.
Users wanted to see notes, relays could be unreliable. Outbox _is_ a compromise, that's it. I'm suggesting now that it's time to rethink it.
