About:
Simply Sow Btc is the dedicated Bitcoin initiative of the Simply Sow Charitable Foundation, a registered NPO. It has evolved into a powerful grassroots force for Bitcoin adoption. The team fully embraces a Bitcoin standard in daily operations, the organisation pays for services exclusively in Bitcoin, and they run practical “How and Why to Use Bitcoin” education sessions.
The project has onboarded multiple businesses, and continues expanding practical, permissionless financial empowerment across Mossel Bay.
Key Objectives:
1. Increase Bitcoin awareness through real-world examples, social media storytelling, and visible everyday use.
2. Deliver hands-on community education so residents can confidently save, send, and spend Bitcoin.
3. Grow a thriving local circular economy where people earn and spend sats for daily needs without converting to fiat.
4. Support and expand merchant adoption by onboarding shops, service providers, and businesses to accept Lightning payments.
5. Build stronger, more resilient local Bitcoin communities that simultaneously advance care in the community.
