I don’t really understand all the hype about Karpathy’s autoresearch.. I mean it’s on the path to the self-improving AI flywheel, but it’s like a small step from hyperparameter tuning which we’ve been doing for many years..
.. unrelated, I do wish there were more ML/AI researchers/practitioners posting here on Nostr!
