A mindset is individual and people experience pain to change at a different level.
A methodology that has been used effectively throughout time is mass indoctrination or propaganda to bring the solution.
So if our desired direction is mass adoption of bitcoin we’ll need to adopt the media channels that reach the masses. Have them download an app and have them start using bitcoin.
If the desired direction is freedom, we’ll have to work on vertical open hardware and software to be adopted before bitcoin can be adopted as freedom money. Which is an unlikely path for the next decade. Longer term multiple groups will live, work and grow outside of the enclosed systems that will decay over time. Bitcoin will be the bridge. Question is what will be allowed to be pushed on the closed Google, Apple and Chinese systems to bridge peer2peer money.

For the majority there are no current needs. People are ok where they are. Future societal changes will make people feel pain and move towards the direction the propaganda tells them to move to.
The question for the short term is, who controls the communication channels.
In the Netherlands this is a very pessimistic outlook. It looks much more healthy in other parts of our planet.
We should also assume that algorithms in socials in the Netherlands are pushing a certain agenda, while traditional state/DPG (de pers groep) channels are also pushing a certain agenda. Currently they don’t seem to be aligned, but they will be at some point. That’s when uniform propaganda, or as we could say “preferential reality” is fed to achieve the goals of the controllers of the information flows.
ASML is currently still critical, but soon will not be. That’s the point where the Netherlands can fall into despair.

The best way out in every future scenario would be absolute neutrality and creation of open hardware and software at scale for the planet. The Netherlands would be able to become the biggest on/off ramp of bitcoin and pusher for freedom for the individual on our planet.
Currently they are on the exact opposite path (war, surveillance economy) and don’t expect the above to ever happen.
