I'm wary of a multi-hundred foot run because odds are the run will fail at some point, and I don't want to have to pull 300ft of that stuff through at a time. Too much effort, too much time, too great of an expense upon failure.

The modules are a little more expensive, but I only have 4-6 ends to terminate and cable cost is about the same. Spokes from the hubs will use copper.
