First, I don’t know the specifics of your school, but I know Texas. Consider these possibilities until you have time to verify facts:
-2nd grade teacher may have resigned because teaching standards are being adopted
-the kids hate going to school this year because it’s no longer an all day playground run by them
-the superintendent is a conservative, doesn’t have purple hair, piercings or tats
-it’s being run like the military, where discipline, order and respect (of adults!) aren’t optional
-your “kids” say they’re not learning anything new because there isn’t anything “new” worth learning at that stage, they must learn basic skills
-the “rotten” food they’re provided for lunch isn’t highly processed fat and sugar laden poison
-as a working mom you possibly should be thrilled your “kids” will grow to be contributors to society, rather than “goats” (I’m not implying “greatest of all time” GOAT)
As a working mom … ask yourself why MUST you work rather than having the option of personally raising your birthlings? Could it be because of how children have been “educated” for the last fifty years? Just sayin’.
