The White Hats™ are evil. No in between. I don't think 1.5M is exceptionally stingy though I would have done a bit more myself.
The fact that the White Hats™ want to negotiate at all belies vulnerability and the knowledge they could be prosecuted if Blockstream has an axe to grind.
