Icelandic startup Treble has raised $18 million in an extension of its Series A led by Paladin Capital Group, with existing investors KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, EIC, and Omega ehf also participating. The round brings the company’s total funding to more than $40 million; it previously raised $12 million in 2024. Amazon and Logitech are customers.
Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, Treble provides physics-based acoustic simulation, synthetic data generation, and testing for voice AI models and hardware. Its tools cover speech enhancement, noise suppression, model evaluation, and virtual prototyping for speakers, headphones, smart glasses, robotics, automotive, and drones. Earlier this year, Treble and Hugging Face launched a benchmark for speech-recognition models in realistic conditions.
