We need a Stories-first client, not a kind 1 that is pretending to do stories like what we do. Some app that will truly make Stories excell as a first class citizen. Something that the "Home" button is the stories feed. Not a flimsy side gig of a kind 1 client.
There is no way to do stories well without sacrificing the kind 1 interface.
