It often is exactly the case - people find no point in living longer but are too scared to die so they wait for death to come when it will.
Whether they do it openly or hide it is irrelevant.
The people who are not like that have found their ikigai, their purpose in life. And to quote a book, if you don't know what your purpose is, then your purpose is to find your purpose 🙂
