Stock Knots shares Core’s consensus and differs on policy. It hands you control of the mempool: datacarrier=0, stricter datacarriersize, permitbaremultisig=0. Core v30 raised the OP_RETURN cap to 100,000 bytes, inviting spam and bible verses on the chain. Knots keeps the filter.\nBut it also lets you go further. consensusrules=rdts enforces BIP-110: OP_RETURN back to 83 bytes at the consensus layer, not as a relay suggestion.
