⚡️💬 The cult of work is a slave’s morality, preached by men who do not work.
Throughout history, those who own have taught those who work that fatigue is a virtue. Pride in one’s labor makes servitude voluntary.
We’ve been taught to take pride in being exhausted, to wear our working hours like medals, and to feel guilty when we rest.
Who benefits from this pride? Today my contract ends, and the lesson I’ve learned isn’t to stop striving, because that is the price of all greatness.
The lesson is to check your destination: the effort that builds your own work makes you grow, while the effort that fills someone else’s schedule wears you down—and you’re paid in compliments…
Be tireless for those who belong to you, and be sparing with the rest.
The pride of obedience is the wage of the poor; freedom is built in the moments you refuse to sell yourself.
In reality, the 600 days I spent on flash (nprofile…7jap) weren't a waste of time, because it's mine.
