Fantastic news. The KNMI (npub16t5…8aly) , which is the the Dutch national weather forecasting service, is allowed to ... forecast the weather.
For a long time commercial apps like #Buienradar prevented the KNMI - a public body - to show radar predictions of rain clouds in its app. They claimed it would amount to inappropriate intervention of the state in "their" market.
As a result, people were forced to use shitty commercial apps with gazillion cookies.
No more!
