I like the idea of an independent communications network that is resistant to those kinds of outages (or even deliberate sabotage/censorship).

I understand it like this: I can add multiple relays to a single profile, and those will be distributed to contacts I send messages to.

If someone has not talked to me for a while and the relay they know me on is gone, they cannot message me anymore until I send them a new message with the updated list.

Correct?
