Israel has embedded itself (using blackmail most likely) in American foreign policy decision making at a level that no junior partner should occupy.
They receive our weapons. Our funding. Our diplomatic protection. And in return, they steer our negotiating position toward outcomes that serve their security priorities at the expense of ours.
Until the United States treats the Israeli government as what it is and starts negotiating on behalf of its own citizens, every round of talks will end the same way. Failure by design.
