Thanks for sharing. I think I am different than most people here, I naturally resist taking pictures or storing memories long term because it makes me feel more anxiety about time aging and mortality. Not rational, but emotional bias.

I lately save pictures shared with me from family and upload it to Peergos.

But if I am building an app for Mlkut, I think a good default is saving friends and family chats, and everything else is treated like ephemeral chat or at most likely Email with LRU cache or something.
