Yesterday my sister asked me to install Windows on her new Huawei laptop. I spent about seven hours on it, even though Windows 11 was properly licensed (with a product key) and the task was just the operating system and an office suite. At first the installation was interrupted due to missing drivers for the wireless module, then it turned out the Windows version was outdated; after updating, BitLocker encryption broke, so I had to roll back and wait again for 25H2 to install. No matter how many years go by, Microsoft stays the same.
