When I worked for a water district, one of the worst parts of the job was turning off people's water for nonpayment. It was worse than cleaning sewers. In fact, many times I didn't actually lock it. I set the lock on the meter, showed the people living there how to turn it on and off and lock it so I didn't get in trouble for it, and walked away. They still always ended up paying so it's not like having a strict nonpayment policy actually helped any better than trying to be a decent human about it.

That said, I cannot even imagine the satisfaction I would feel turning off the water to one of the new AI datacenters.
