The project might've slowed down but I was hopeful for something like nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcqyrm334987tq2luxf93xfuz9ahw7h3zuamutvlnfm253fj4wreyzqqs29p5c (nprofile…9p5c) to take off. It's open source and possibly a good starting point. Imo it would look like:
0. Realize we all probably missed the mark on perfect security measures since nostr was new
1. Create some kind of spec for npub migration protocol where we can sign a message to delegate it to the newer npub (may exist and I don't know but design one for this purpose)
2. Regenerate nsecs using something like frostr with the types of delegations you describe
3. Make that the standard for clients. "Msecs" or share or whatever you want to call them can be rotated by master key
