Are the projections of future battery usage associated with the shift to electrically driven vehicles too focussed on cars?
The CEO of Tianqi Lithium, Frank Ha has suggested that the shift in commercial vehicles, industrial machines & shipping has been under-estimated & may represent a major aspect of the transition to electrical power across the world... while clearly he's not disinterested, it is an interesting proposition as it suggests a further surge in battery demand.
