We're downsizing, eliminating the accumulations of our lifetimes.

My husband, an old school analog photographer, has pitched out hundreds of handmade prints. Yeah, some of these were proofs, but many were completed works.

One of these days, I expect to see his glass negatives in the bin, too. He's working hard to ensure that after he's gone, he doesn't become another postmortem artist like Vivian Maier.

Art doesn't pay. We're in an era where we can ill afford keeping what doesn't financially support us.
