The questions raised about Strategy were fascinating the other week, basically, unless bitcoin price goes up significantly, there is no way to keep all stake/share holders happy. No matter what you do, you’re always eating someone else’s lunch.
Then while looking at the dashboard, with the questions of how MNav etc are being calculated swirling around my head…….
To quote bitcoinpierre (nprofile…zpty) , let’s run the numbers….
219,360 sats per share,
$115 per share,
$62k per bitcoin,
0.00219360x$62k = $136 of bitcoin per share.
Don’t know about you, but that would suggest that MNav is not 1.12 as stated but 0.836, more bitcoin that the value of the shares!!!!!! MSTR trading at a significant discount and then presenting something very different.
But then total value of bitcoin = $52.8b, market cap is $62b, meaning MNav based on that would be 1.17 (also different to the stated figure)
That’s the simplest maths with both being wrong, now wonder if all the other figures make any sense…. Signed a rather confused, annoyed shareholder….
