With the risk of being labed as a flat earther, I can't help wondering how exactly they measured the distance between the two cities. Most people end up in a circle when they walk in the local woods, but this guy walked 800 kilometers in a perfect straight line - apart from the curvature of the earth, obviously.
But what do I know?
... and who am I to even ask questions? Carl Sagan tells the story, so it must be 100% true 🤷♂️
