Nature blessed me with the first strawberries of the season.

Grateful.

Reminds me of my mom.

Unfortunately she passed away after her 6th covid booster 🤡

Growing up I never got birthday gifts from her.

We simply didn’t have the money.

But every single birthday she made me a strawberry cake.

Truth is I didn’t even like it that much because she added a shit ton of cream and I was never a big cream guy.

I never told her though.

I always looked her in the eyes and said “Mom this is the best cake on this planet.”

And today I’m grateful I did.

Do yourself a favor.

Hug & kiss your mom if ypu still can.

I’m gonna turn those strawberries into a cake now.

And add a shit ton of cream.
