I played some Castlevania: Bloodlines as recommended by the one and only nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpq7yps5sznhd0drwflfvz0xurmu4gp2eermmqgwlleycn0h0dh3azq2q5es2 (nprofile…5es2) .
It's really fun and just the break I was looking for, a great pick up and play game. It took me a bit to figure out that I can swing by holding the whip button. The first level to be exact. 😅
I was wondering how you would dodge the boss.
Still, I ended up making it to the beginning of stage 3. I died a bunch in stage 2-5 (or something?) where you do a bunch of platforming with instant death pits. This is where I used up all of my continues. 😅
Whenever I play such a game, I remember how good it can feel to bang your head against something and finally succeeding. There are still hard games nowadays, but I feel like most no longer force you to start from the very beginning, slowly building up muscle memory and mastery for the first few stages.
Not something I need every day, but it's fun every now and then.
