If miners are the only thing that matters, why do we bother running full nodes? If a miner produces a block with invalid signatures, what keeps that block from being accepted by the rest of the network?
More importantly, If miners fill blocks with non-monetary data, are we still using Bitcoin as a monetary network, or just a decentralized data storage solution? At what percentage is arbitrary data okay? 60%, 80%? 99%?
