This was my rebuttal to a very intelligent friend of mine who was a bit triggered by all the AI fear-mongering and leaning towards defending the creation of a Federal Agency to “regulate” them….

These agencies aren’t working for “the people”. They are working exactly as designed. For the elites and special interest groups they are protecting.

Said simply, they are a grift/tax on citizens/humanity.

Creating one for “AI” will not be for the people or to “save civilization”.
It will be to protect the interests of those running the AI/Big Tech companies.
Keeping out competition and shielding them from liability.”
