FWIW, this is the outcome I expected (and certainly agree with), but I expected more of this court to endorse Kavanaugh’s narrower, hedged reasoning (based solely on the timing and the fact that the election has started already). So the majority ruling is actually a stronger repudiation of the executive order and USPS rules than I had predicted we’d see at this stage.
