I’ve been tinkering with Hermes agent as my local AI harness and OpenCode Go for the cheap models and…
I’m just astounded by the productivity gains at the ridiculously low cost. Instead of paying $100-200 a month for a frontier model like Claude, I’d just get the $20 sub just to check & review the work done by the $5-$10 models on OpenCode Go
Plus Hermes has this recursive intelligence that just understands and remembers important stuff during long tasks
So what I’m trying to say is that OpenCode + Hermes together does a good job tbh
