Why do we feel the need to convince people that being dumb enough to fall for this and not fixing that first is okay before taking self custody?
Anyone who knows enough to custody their bitcoin would never have put their key on a device that could possibly know this information.
Telling someone who doesn't understand this to custody their Bitcoin is like asking your dog to hold onto a $100 bill for you.
They should self custody. And to do that, they should learn what it means to do so, and how to do it, FIRST. Order of operations matters.
