so I don’t do a straight copy and typically use H.264 as a straight rip can take up to 8GB. depending on length it’s 1.2 to 3 GB per. I have them backed up on 2 12TB HDDs.
It’s my photos that are the storage hogs. I have 2 28 TB drives that have hopefully enough room to hold me over till storage prices drop
