Here's how to bypass age verification.

A) Set your location on all accounts you have to Switzerland, the US or another country outside the EU. This applies to all SoMe accounts etc. You should do this now, before the law comes into effect.

B) Get a VPN and secure email. I recommend Proton, which is located in Switzerland and is subject to their data protection laws. They offer super fast VPN, secure email, and a lot of other privacy services in a single package.

C) If you can afford it, get some crypto. It doesn't matter what kind. The important thing is that you have an alternative payment method for the VPN that bypasses any payment restrictions from the EU.

D) If you're not that keen on crypto, you can alternatively use payment services like Wise, which allow you to make payments through a third party in a country outside the EU.

E) Set up an alternative DNS on your home network or PC. This can be e.g. be open-DNS. This effectively bypasses DNS blocks from the state.

F) If you really want to go all-in, get a Starlink. However, I'm a little skeptical about how effective it is, since Elon can also be subject to restrictions within the EU.

In addition, it's a good idea to boycott companies that use age verification to use their services. Also give them crappy reviews on Trustpilot, Google, etc.

It shouldn't be free to participate in the EU's mass surveillance of citizens.
