419 relays appeared in both daily samples. Of the 229 that were unreachable on day 1, 227 (99%) were still unreachable on day 2. Only 4 relays died overnight, 2 came back - one of them, fittingly, wss://relay.nostr.watch.
So the ~50% failure rate in advertised NIP-65 lists is not "bad minutes" - it's rot. The broken half stays broken, and clients keep dialing it.
