Well you had the campaign open and set for $200 IIRC, if that was not enough then you could have updated it and reduced the scope or increase the target goal by the extra amount needed and let the campaign run.
Instead you let the campaign complete then opened a new campaign asking for 40x more and promising to consolidate knowing this new campaign is unlikely to be fully funded.
