Hey man you are one of the people I consider trustworthy, if you got time to give me your opinion on this:
I run knots (because they way core handled the whole op-return thing showed very worrying signs for me) but I don't support bip110 (I'm completely aligned on the intention, but the methodology and timing is not right for me).
I was very happy that we got 22% of nodes switching to knots (we need more implementation with more shares), but this bip110 seems very rushed and maybe we have better ways (and better planned) to voice/show the btc we believe in.
If bip110 fails and we hard fork (i guess we will find out in 3 weeks), didn't we "waste" the achievement of having 22% nodes switch to another btc implementation?
I don't think this op-return is the battle worth dying for right now
