Some people on here get mad when I talk about V4V content, especially when it has to do with memes. (A few of you are already mad just reading this 😂) They get indignant when something I post gets zapped, but I think they’re missing the forest for the trees.
I admit some of you are far more generous than what I deserve for what I post. But I like to think that generosity happens because, in that moment, something I shared resonated with what you were already thinking or going through. (Or you were just drunk and regretted it later. I’m hoping it’s the first one 😂)
Content is communication, whether it’s through memes or music or whatever. It’s how we put our perspectives, experiences, and values out out into the world, and how we find others to connect with. Content fosters community.
Not everyone has to like what I post, but that was never the goal. If it resonates with someone, then it was worth making. If others get mad about that, then that’s their problem to sort through.
