I learned recently that the higher the inequality in a nation, the higher the consumption. It sounds counterintuitive, but makes sense when you really ponder it.

The Unites States is the furthest outlier in inequality and consumption.

Celebrities wear a LV bag that they could literally replace every day with no material change to their lifestyle. Yet, you’ll see a woman wearing the same bag and it cost her a month of net pay. We are a sick nation. 🇺🇸
