Are you asking how it's paid out method-wise or how it's divided up?
The block reward is paid based on hashrate contributed. As for the how, we adhere to the 100-block rule, obviously, meaning the rewards are paid out after 100 blocks (which takes ~16 hours).
Many people don't know that last part because hoards of people haven't hit blocks yet.
